Description

Volunteer, play with your kids and try something new by joining us for an all-abilities Open Gym with The Ability Center (TAC) at St. John Vianney in Brookfield! Attendees are invited to try something new and play in a “different pair of shoes.” Programming is led by TAC staff and is free and open to the public. We'll help TAC staff with set-up, take down and playing in between. Fun for the whole family, and no previous experience needed!

ACTIVITIES
Set up and take down sports equipment and PLAY :) TAC provides all equipment to engage in wheelchair sports and other adaptive games (wheelchair basketball, seated volleyball/ tennis, and/or goal ball - with blindfolds!) Volunteers are needed to help bring the sports equipment and wheelchairs into the gym from the TAC trailer and get it set up and ready for play. Stay to play and then help get everything back into the trailer at the end of the program.
