Summary
Description
Project Description
RAMP Up Milwaukee is a planned outdoor community gathering dedicated to showing our community the wonderful assortment of all-accessible wheels available for public use at the Lakefront. TAC needs help to set up the main tent, lead yard games, move things from “point a to point b” (from vehicles for example) and clean up at the end. Kids (and adults) are welcome to play, and try the accessible bikes throughout the event.
Activities
Specifically, we are looking for 4 families to assist with the set-up of the event starting at 4:30. Then we will assign various jobs to families to support the event from 5:00-7:00 including leading yard games and moving equipment around to make the bikes accessible to use throughout the event. We ask that families assist with clean up towards the end of the event.
Impact
Kids will get to use their time and love to support our partner organization (The Ability Center) to make a positive difference in the lives of Milwaukee citizens of all abilities while having the opportunity to have fun at the RAMP Up Milwaukee outing.
