St. Vincent de Paul Meal Service - July

Join us for our Monthly Taco Night at SVDP! Thanks to the 2023 sponsorship of Bradley & Co Real Estate, KIC families will pack up and distribute 150 taco dinners for adult and child guests of St. Vincent De Paul - Harambee at All Peoples Church. St. Vincent De Paul meal program provides meals throughout the year, and dinners are provided by various charitable organizations five nights a week. 

Activities: 

Participants will prepare the dining room and serve food to individuals living with food insecurity. Specific activities include the following:

• Stuff utensils and napkin bags

• Set out taco ingredients, condiments, rice, beans, fruit, and cookies.

• Prepare to-go containers with a full meal

• Hand out the meals to dinner guests

• Basic clean up post-meal service (sweeping, wiping tables, etc.)

Hairnets, gloves, and aprons are required and provided at the event. If your family would like to bring their own aprons and baseball caps, you are welcome to do that.  Face coverings are optional at this time.

Purpose:
Children will serve and act with compassion towards others.

Impact:
Children and their caregivers will serve a healthy meal for guests of the St. Vincent De Paul Meal Program.
