Kids Impact Community is looking to fulfill 125 wish lists for elementary aged students in Milwaukee through the Holiday Wishlist Project. This year we have 125 wish lists for children ages 2-16 to fulfill for kids at the Milwaukee Woman’s Center, a program of Community Advocates. Founded in 1980, the Milwaukee Women’s Center provides comprehensive services and treatment for women, men, and children whose lives have been affected by domestic violence, addiction, mental health issues, homelessness, and poverty. In the past, we have had well over 150 families looking to participate and this year we are excited to partner with Allies for Teens in Foster Care as well! Allies for Teens in Foster Care is a local nonprofit organization that looks to supplement the educational and social needs of teens living in group home situations. They will be looking for donations of a toiletry bag filled with hygene items and a Target gift card so that their teens can go out and buy gifts for their own friends and families! It really is a wonderful way to give back!
Impact: Kids will experience the warm feeling of kindness by giving and thinking of families in need during the holidays.
Activities: Email Annie (annie@kicmke.org) if you are interested in fulfilling a wish list. You will receive an email with the gift tag and list, along with more detailed instructions.
When and Where: The gift tags will be sent out starting on November 1. The gifts will then be due on or before December 2, at the designated drop off location.
Cost: Each gift should be $15-$25
Questions: Please contact Annie (annie@kicmke.org) with any questions.
