Description
Enjoy a cherished experience with your children and grandfriends from Hartland Terrace Senior Living in a true intergenerational fashion. This is a great chance for your little one(s) to get out to meet new kids and brighten the day of seniors in our community.

Activities

Our playgroup will provide an opportunity to children, parents and assisted living residents to interact and play with each other in a relaxed and friendly environment. We will open with a hello song to break the ice and introduce ourselves to the group. Then we will all work together creating something that will help support a shared cause. Our joint service project and theme will change each month.

Impact

Intergenerational playgroups boost the social and emotional health for everyone involved by fostering empathy in children, reducing isolation in seniors and strengthening a sense of belonging, purpose and community spirit.
