Summary
Description
Impact: Kids and their caregivers will work together to prepare and serve a breakfast meal, while helping to brighten the morning of people in need. Kids will see that serving others can be fun and that they are capable of making a difference.
Activities: Our volunteer group of children and caregivers will prepare and serve breakfast to 60-70 guests at Waukesha's Hope Center. Kids Impact Community will provide the ingredients for us to prepare on-site. There is a kitchen at the center where we will prep the meal service. Following the meal, we will clean up.
Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 8-10 AM
(General schedule: 8-9 cook / 9-9:30 serve / 9:30-10:00 clean up)
Where: Hope Center (101 W. Broadway, Waukesha)
Registration Information
Participant Cap: 8-10 volunteers
Age: Recommended for ages 5 and up, but all ages are welcome!
Cost: FREE - If you would like to contribute an ingredient to our meal (optional), you'll have the opportunity to sign up via email when the event gets closer.
Materials: Gloves will be provided. Bring an apron if you'd like (optional)!

Cancellations: We count on our registered volunteers to make these projects come to life. However, we understand illness and emergencies do come up, so if you can no longer participate, please email joanna@kicmke.org ASAP so we can fill your spot.

The Hope Center is a non-profit organization that has been assisting Waukesha County residents with basic needs for more than thirty years. Hope Center guests include those living with housing insecurity, families trying to stretch their budget and older adults living on a fixed income.
